Flying Upwind: An Ode to Non-Complacency
In this era, it’s common to neglect reading, in favor of other means of processing information. The motive behind it? Get to the "meat and potatoes" of the philosophy, argument, system... The youth is rowdy, yet (sometimes) wise. Following the old means of receiving NEW info is foolish. I argue that reading, not just watching a YouTube video or listening to a podcast, is critical to intellectual development as we get into the "meat and potatoes" of the digital age.
.
Reading will not get phased out.

This blog will include Album Reviews, (public) corporations I am investing in or looking to invest in, good books, and whatever else feels right. At the end of the week I will recap (My Week). I'm feeling this out; feedback is appreciated, but not expected. Though I believe if you care about what someone is doing, and you're aware of the behavior, you chime in.

Principles: Art
Art is best evaluated by its influence. One can lie about what they like, but imitation is a beautiful interpretation of flattery. Most of life is based off forecasting the future. I don't mind being wrong, but I follow theory. The aforementioned is cryptic, but it'll make sense as this blog gets rolling. Correspondingly, I will be using Tidal EXCLUSIVELY to construct my playlists, no matter how it hurts my "brand."
.
Believing in the mission, not the path, is the route to success.
.
Principle: Album of the Day
I'm not going to review albums immediately. It doesn’t reveal much about the project. In cases of hyped albums, where LABELS have significant effect over what JOURNALISTS say, there’s tendency to overrate undeserving albums… so no one gets upset.
.
This will cut through noise.
