Ghostbusters – Who you gonna call?

Before I begin, I’m not citing any sources.

I don’t believe in police, as an institution. I have never felt safe around a police officer. Sometimes there is no silver lining. For those who have grown callous to the movies or what they’ve scene in reel life This is why “people” run first, then ask questions after. We all know an Amy Cooper. Amy is your neighbor. Amy is your acquaintance. Amy may be closer, and you can only REALLY know in the heat of the moment. Being on the right side of history requires conscious decisions in the now.

Day [???]: The phone rings.

Caller: How are you doing?

The Articulate One: I’m doing ok.

C: You see the news?

TAO: Yeah. I saw it.

Rule of Law + Amendment 13 of the Constitution = the reason many “people” moved “North.” However, the South is everywhere. I prefer the bluntness of unfairness, without the lie of equality. Throughout my 20s, I’ve had the illusion of riches. Otherwise, I’ve gotten the nagging feeling of settling down, with a partner and kids. Perhaps it’s just seeking safety. Nonetheless, follow your heart and let life take its course.

There is no escape. You gotta fight.

Whether it’s Biden, Lana Del Rey, or the next public lynching, I refuse to indulge in praising a system that allows this to consistently continue. This two-party political system under capitalism is NOT working for me. Furthermore, I will not be voting for Joe Biden unless there is significant change in his approach and policy, which I DOUBT.
